• EQ Sketch lets you simply draw the curve you want directly on the display. In seconds you can lay down a complete starting EQ — low cut, bells, shelves, and high cut — instead of placing individual bands one by one. It’s the fastest way to get a musical foundation, especially powerful when combined with the new Instance List.
• Instance List is a session-wide control center. From any single Pro-Q 4 window you can view, select, and adjust every other Pro-Q 4 instance in your project. Copy and paste bands or entire presets between instances instantly. It turns a full-session EQ session into a one-window operation.
• Spectral Dynamics is a brand-new processing mode that goes beyond traditional dynamic EQ. Instead of boosting or cutting an entire band, it intelligently targets only the specific frequencies inside the band that cross the threshold — leaving the rest untouched. The result is ultra-precise, transparent problem-frequency control that sounds completely natural.
